Vision

To provide a conducive atmosphere for the students and faculty to utilize the resources, kindle the reading habit and to maintain the stock to meet the need of the time and readers.

  • To collect and issue the required resources to help the students and the faculty to update their knowledge.
  • To encourage the students to develop their competency skill to succeed in various competitive examinations.

The college has a fully equipped spacious library with more than 32000 volumes covering all major fields of science and humanities. It is fully computerized which enables the students and faculty to avail document without any difficult.  It has multimedia, Internet, Reprography, Back volumes, Projects and CD-ROM collection and separate reference section facility for the staff and the students. A book bank for deserving candidates is also being maintained. The college also subscribes for the major Online journals and strongly believes in E-Learning. Towards this, the college has provided multimedia computers with internet connectivity, E-Books-Journals etc.

The college library is well stocked that serves as a wonderful wealth of information and reference resource materials. The library subscribes to most of the important national and international journals and magazines and is refreshed with the latest editions of reference books frequently. A separate library for MBA and MCA department is also here to serve the students.

The library is open on all working days between 9.15 A.M to 4.15 P.M. Books are issued between 1.00 P.M to 3.30 P.M and received between 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M.


Borrowing privileges
The members of the library are given the following borrowing facilities:

  • Staff (Teaching) - 5 Cards
  • Staff (Non-Teaching) - 2 Cards
  • Students (P.G) - 3 Cards
  • Students (U.G) - 2 Cards

Borrowing patterns

Subject Books: 15 Days
Fiction: 20 Days

Journals and References are not issued but can be referred in the library. The loss of the card must be reported immediately to the librarian. A duplicate will be issued after collecting a fine of Rupees 50/-. Delay in return of books is not encouraged and an Overdue charge of Rupee 1/-for the first day and Rupee 2/- for the subsequent days will be charged. After a week the membership card will be suspended.
