The Department of Mathematics organized an International Seminar on “Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis for Survey Data” on September 20, 2023, at Valliammai Hall. Dr.Anthonisamy Vincent Raja, a renowned Professor from the University of Guyana in South America was the resource person of the seminar.

Dr. E.J. Lalith Kumar, Head, Department of Mathematics delivered the welcome address and expressed the aim of the seminar. His opening remarks set the tone for what would be an intellectually stimulating and knowledge-enriching seminar. Vice Principal, Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, graced the occasion with his special address and underscored the significance of the seminar in advancing. The collective understanding of bivariate and multivariate analysis for survey data.

Dr. G. Kumar, Assistant Professor of Mathematics introduced the resource person, Dr.Anthonisamy Vincent Raja. In his lecture, the resource person delved into the intricate subject of Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis for Survey Data. His presentation was marked by his profound expertise and insightful explanations. Attendees were captivated by his delivery, and they left the seminar hall with eager to apply the knowledge they had gained in their research and studies.

The seminar drew a diverse audience, including 25 faculty members and turnout of 200 students. This diversity added depth to the discussions and demonstrated the widespread interest in advancing statistical analysis techniques. Dr. Raja took a moment to express his gratitude to the organizers for their meticulous planning, which contributed to the success of the live session. Mr. M.
