Established in 2011, the Placement Cell has carved a distinctive niche in the corporate landscape by consistently bringing out confident, competent and career-ready young professionals. Over the years, it has built up a strong network of corporate relationships and established itself as a trusted interface between the institution and the industry.

The Cell coordinates a range of career-oriented initiatives to bring out the best in students, with focused programmes on Personality Development, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Career Planning and Career Mapping. It has maintained an impressive and consistent placement record since its inception, with 94% of eligible candidates securing placements consecutively over the past decade. More than 30 multinational companies have offered career opportunities to students across diverse sectors, including Information Technology, Banking and Finance, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Advertising, BPOs, KPOs and NGOs.

Through its sustained efforts, the Cell continues to open up avenues for meaningful employment and help students hit the ground running as they embark on their professional journeys.

Responsibilities

• To assist students to develop their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group discussion.
• To assist students to develop and implement successful job search strategies.
• Work with faculty members, department heads and administration to integrate career planning with the academic curriculum.
• Empower students with lifelong career decision-making skills.
• Providing resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
• Act as an interface between students and the employment community.
• To create awareness in the students regarding future career options.
• Assisting different companies in recruiting candidates as per their requirements.
• Coordinating summer training / internship programmes.
• Bridging the gap between Industry and Academia.
• Arranging MOCK sessions for enhancing communication skills, group discussion techniques, and written test / screening methods.
