About the Cell
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell at the College plays a crucial role in helping the students and the faculty members safeguard their creative works, including innovations, designs, and literary creations. It provides guidance on securing legal protection for these ideas, ensuring they remain exclusive and not exploited without proper authorization. The IPR Cell also assists in managing intellectual property, preventing misuse, and ensuring that creations are used appropriately. Its primary goal is to maintain the integrity and security of intellectual property, allowing students and faculty to focus on their innovative endeavours with confidence.
Objectives:
- Raise awareness about the importance of IPR in protecting creative works.
- Organize workshops and seminars on patents, copyrights, trademarks, and design protections.
- Encourage innovation by providing tools and knowledge to protect intellectual property.
- Assist with the application process for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other IP protections.
- Promote research and discussions on IPR, keeping the community updated on the latest trends and legal changes.
