The Department of Biotechnology conducted the webinar on “Guidelines for the management of health and hygiene in COVID-19 pandemic” for the students and teaching faculties. The meeting was held through Google meet on 28 May, 2020 at 4.00 P.m. The speaker was Dr. C. Sheela sasikumar, Head of clinical research and development, Hycare super specialty hospital, Chennai. The management of health during COVID-19 pandemic and hygienic measures was discussed in this session. Total number of participants was 136 including students and staffs. The e-certificate was provided to all the registered participants. The students gained knowledge on the management of COVID-19 infection and good hygiene practices to protect from COVID- 19
