An industrial visit to Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited was organized by the Department of Management Studies for the first year MBA students on 23^th of January, 2024. Sixty students, accompanied by three staff members visited the plant. The visit aimed to impart practical knowledge about manufacturing process.

Logistics manager, Mr. S. Karthick welcomed the students and the staffs and gave a brief orientation about the company and the production and logistics process. Further, we were provided the special AV presentation about the origin and the success journey of the Managing Director, Mr .G. Munusaami and the various products delivered by the organization in different branches.

The production manager explained the entire refinery process and about the bi-products of refinery process .The students were taken to the packing area were the concerned supervisor explained about the automatic package system. After witnessing the packing sector, the students were taken to the warehouse were the finished and packed goods were stored and transported to the respective vehicle.

On the whole the students had explored about the company setup and the manufacturing process. The observations and queries raised by the students made them to learn and explore knowledge about the plant. Even the employees of the company were really supportive to the students that made them to enjoy and created the atmosphere so friendly. Overall it was an enriching experience to the students.
