The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1993-1994 with B.Sc Computer Science with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science.

M.Sc Computer Science Programme is offered from the year 1998 with the aim to develop core proficiency in Computer Science and prepare the students to carry out development work as well as to meet up the challenges in research.
