Industrial Fire Safety Training Programme

A Safety Training Programme was conducted on 16 December 2025 at Diamond Engineering (Chennai) Pvt. Ltd., Mambakkam, as part of the company’s employee development initiatives. The programme was jointly organized and delivered by the faculty members of the Department of Management Studies—Dr. K. Thirumalvalavan, Mrs. D. Dhanalakshmi, and Dr. N. Janani—with the objective of enhancing awareness of occupational health and safety practices.

Mr. P. Karthikeyan, Fire Station Officer, Maraimalai Nagar, provided practical demonstrations on fire safety, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of fire-fighting equipment. The training emphasized workplace safety, accident prevention, and compliance with occupational health standards, highlighting the role of safety in reducing operational risks, costs, and downtime while improving productivity.

Approximately 132 employees from low to senior-level cadres actively participated in the interactive sessions. The programme concluded with an address by the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. P. Mohanraj, who appreciated the resource persons and participants, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to a strong safety culture.
