மார்கழிப் பாவை – 2025

SRM Arts and Science College celebrated Margazhi Paavai on 9th January 2025 at Valliammai Hall. The event’s commemoration every year signifies the importance of celebrating the highest essence of the spiritual values embedded within our culture and tradition. In Tamil Nadu, the month of Margazhi (December – January) embarked on the celebration of young minds gifted with artistic nuances. The event commenced with the reciting of Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu and a heartfelt Welcome Address by Mr. M. K. Vijayaraghavan, Head of the Department of Other Languages. A Special address was rendered by our revered Principal Dr. R. Vasudevaraj.  Vice Principal Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan delivered the felicitation address.

The students from our college’s Fine Arts Club procured a divine atmosphere through their mellifluous renditions and mesmerizing Bharathanatyam performances. “Thiruvarutpa Isai Mamani” Dr. Thirukovilur Jeeva. Seenuvasan bound the crowd with his magnanimous speech on Thiruvarutpa and the values of Vallalar.

The last event for the day was Nritya Sangamam, a scintillating dance performance from students of “Nrutya Rathna” Guru Smt. Ramya Rangadurai, Shri Niruthalaya Arts School, Pallikaranai.

The event concluded after a vote of Thanks, which showed immense gratitude for the dedicated effort of the Organizing Committee and the unparalleled support of the Institution, which made this event a phenomenal success.
