The Department of Biotechnology conducted the webinar on “CRISPR-Cas9: How this gene editing tool is changing the world” for the students and teaching faculties. The meeting was held through Google meet on 13 July, 2020 at 5.00 P.m. The speaker was Dr. Pounami Samadder, Research specialist, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. The use of gene editing tool CRISPR-Cas technology for the diagnosis of COVID-19 was discussed. Total number of participants was 250 including students and staffs. The e-certificate was provided to all the registered participants.
