The guest lecture on entrepreneurship awareness was held under the auspices of the “Entrepreneurship Development Cell” in association with Department of Management Studies on 21st August,2019. Nearly 120 students participated in the event.
Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal, SRM arts and Science College delivered the presidential address. Mr. R. Balasubramanian, Deputy general manager, National Small Industries Corporation Limited, Guindy was invited as the Chief Guest.
He briefly explained about the micro, small and medium enterprises. The lecture was very useful as he gave us inputs to achieve success as an entrepreneur. He also explained about NSIC government organisation and the schemes available for young turbulent minds and their ideas. Also, he gave a complete statistics of Indian economy 2019.
The session was so interactive and the related videos gave us a wide knowledge on entrepreneurship, the different types of business models, the different plans available and different ways to promote and market the products.
This guest lecture was extremely helpful in understanding the current scenario of our market and gave us a wide knowledge about the opportunities available for an entrepreneur.
