A Public Awareness Rally on “Corona Virus” was organized by the Department of Mathematics on 10^th February, 2020 to raise awareness among the people on Corona Virus and its possibility for Pandemic. The Rally was flagged off by the Principal, Dr. R.Vasudevaraj, and was led by the Faculty of Mathematics and other Departments’. The Student Volunteers from various departments took part in the Rally. Carrying banners and displaying the Placards to prevent the COVID-19 virus. Along holding many placards and banners in bright colors, they also shouted awareness Slogans in the rally about the threat posed by COVID-19. The Rally started from the main block of the College and covered all the Institutions in the Campus. 250 Student Volunteers and 50 faculty took part in the rally. The Rally gave the students the sense of social responsibility and commitments that they need to carry out in their entire lives for the wellness of the society and the Nation.
