The Department of Biochemistry Organized a Webinar on dated 20.06.2020, at 5.00 PM of Indian Standard Time, through google meet on the topic “Immune system in the context of covid-19-A Natural born fighter.” Presented by Dr.R.Aruna M.Sc., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Webinar started with the permission of the Principal Dr.R.Vasudevaraj SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur. The Programme sharply begins at 5.00PM, and Dr.R.Aruna strongly delivered her speech for about for 40 minutes followed by the question session. The speech gives an awareness to improve the immunity and also provide tips among the participant during this pandemic Covid – 19 situations. Faculties, research scholars, students from our college as well as from various colleges, were actively participated in this webinar. Nearly 200 participants were registered and around 200 participants from all over from Tamil Nadu were participated in this webinar.

 All the participants had received the participation certificates. On behalf of Biochemistry Department Dr.B.Arirudran Assistant Professor and Head i/c congratulated and appreciated Dr.R.Aruna for providing that valuable tips on the situation. The Immune system in the context of covid-19-A Natural born fighter, is a unique program that educates all the participants on how to manage the covid-19, and boost immunity to create Healthy and Strong life.
