The Department of computer science conducted a webinar on the topic “Recent Trends in Information Technology “on 08/02/2021 from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon with 195 registrations. The Webinar has been conducted through Google Meet Link with more than 95 participants’ and also conducted live in the seminar hall for final year BSC and MSC students with 75 students who had attended the webinar live. Our Chief Guest was, Mr Ramesh Chandrasekaran, Senior Project Manager, IBM – Chennai. He is a qualified Project Manager with more than 18 years of experience in managing Software Development, Support, and Infrastructure Projects. Apart from that, he has also completed 10 Certified Courses including Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Application Developer. The Webinar was very informative and gave deep insights into the topic, and also unveiled interesting facts. I am sure the Session was valuable and helps the participants to gain knowledge about the recent trends in information technology. The Welcome speech and address were given by the Head of the Department Mr R.karthikeyan and a vote of thanks given by Dr DRJ Jiji Mol. Various Heads of the Departments, Faculty, and Research Scholars from different places and Institutions have actively participated in this Webinar. I would also like to thank our Principal Dr R. Vasudevaraj for his continuous encouragement and support in organizing this webinar.
