The Department of Commerce (ISM)- organized an Awareness Programme on “Stand Against On Drugs Abuse”. The programme was inaugurated in traditional manner with lighting the “kuthuvillakku” and “TAMIL THAI VAZHTHU’ sung by the students. Dr. B. Don Bosco, Head, Department of Commerce(ISM) introduced the Chief Guest by adderessing his nobel services.. Dr. S. Sudhakar, M.B.B.S, M.D (PSYCHIATRY), Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Chengalpattu Medical College and Hospital was the Resource Person of this programme who addressed the Students and Participants to have awareness on drug abuse and its consequences . Dr..R.Vasudevaraj , Principal, SRM Arts and Science College had a friendly interaction among the participants. The chief guest was honored by Dr.R.Malarvizhi and Mr.G.Inbasakaran . In this occasion the Chief Guest presented the badges to the Office Bearers of the department. Finally this programme was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by K.S Punithan of III B.Com (ISM).
