A training programme for NISM(National Institute of Securities Markets) certification was organized by Department of Management Studies for the first and second year MBA students on 18^th December at 10.00 a.m.

Dr. J. Saravanan, Head of the Department introduced the chief guest. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal of our college honoured the chief guest by presenting a memento.Welcome Address was given by Mr .P. Elumalai, Associate Professor of the Department of Management Studies.

Mr. A.K. Narayan, chartered accountant and NISM trainer was the resource person.He delivered a lecture on the topic “Fundamentals of Stock Market”.He briefed the students about different types of assets classes and the pros and cons of the same.He also advised the students on the various avenues to invest.

The session went on for a time period of ten hours. Sixty five studentshad enrolled for this programme which was offered free of cost and benefitted out of it. At the end of the program, vote of thanks was proposed by GokulKrishnan.C, final year student of MBA department. He delivered special thanks to the resource person for his valuable inputs on securities markets. He showed his gratitude to the Principal who always extends his support in all aspects.

The participants attended the exam on 28^th of December which was conducted in online mode. The students secured good marks and certificates were issued to them.
