The Department of Management Studies organized a webinar on the topic, “Financial Crisis– A Lagging Indicator of Structural Changes in Savings and Choice of Investment Avenues amongst Individuals” on 8^th of June 2020 at 5 p.m. The objective of the webinar was to educate the changes happening in savings pattern.Around 95 staff members of the college participated in the online session.

Dr.  S.  Saravanan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Management Studies was the resource person. He advised the staff members about the importance of savings, different savings pattern, changes in savings pattern and investment avenues.He also provided guidance on the ways to improve savings. Educated on the changes that is happening and the way to improve savings.He also clarified the doubts of the faculty members.

All the staff members of SRM Arts and Science College found thewebinar to be an eye-opener.Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal of our college appreciated Dr. J. Saravanan, Head of the department for organizing such a webinar. The participants found the webinar to be very useful as it would help them in managing their hard earned money effectively.
