An awareness programme on “Water Borne Diseases” was organized by the Department of Management Studies on 1st December, 2021 for the non-teaching staff members of our college. Dr. O.V.Ravikumar, Head, Department of Microbiology addressed the audience.
He briefed about various water borne diseases like malaria, typhoid, cholera and Dengue in a lucid manner. He emphasized on the adage, ”Prevention is better than cure”. He advised the participants about the precautionary measures that must be followed in order to stay safe from these kinds of diseases, which are rampant during rainy season.
