The Department of Computer Science conducted a seminar on Career Prospects in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence on April 4, 2022. The session lasted more than three hours from 10 a.m. till 1.10 p.m. Two Hundred students attended the seminar. Mr. P. Rajasekeran, Director, DigiR Tech Solution, Learning Partner 360DigiTMG, and Tmt S. Divya Janani, Jr. Data Scientist / Trainer, 360DigiTMG, Chengalpattu were the resource persons of the seminar. The first session was held in the seminar hall on the topic an Introduction to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with a detailed description of the components of data science and real-world applications, as well as an explanation of various examples of artificial intelligence. The second session of the seminar was Hands-on Training focusing on utilizing Text Mining use case in Python which was explained in Computer Science Lab-I by Tmt S. Divya Janani. Mr. R. Karthikeyan, Head i/c of the Department of Computer Science, delivered the Welcome Address & keynote address of the seminar. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal, and Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal, proposed the special address. The seminar focused on the recent trends and development in the field of computer science. Mr.S. Selvakumar and Dr.D.R Jiji Mol, Assistant Professor, Computer Science, introduced the resource persons of the seminar to the participants. Mr. D. Gritto, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, proposed the vote of gratitude.
