As the pandemic situation continues to threaten the globe and spread faster, the YRC of the College organized “An Awareness Programme on COVID – 19′ to the people of Potheri.The Convenor and members of the YRC conducted the Programme at theMain Bloek of the College on 18.03.2021 Dr. R. Nandhakumar, General Medicine, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kattankulathur was invited as the Chief Guest. He spoke and gave advice to the people on how they need to protect themselves from COVID-l9, How the mask and sanitizer need to be used and what are the simple home treatment people can adapt to prevent the virus. The people interacted with the Doctor and cleared their doubts on COVID-l9 related cases. As part of the Awareness Programme the people were issued mask and demonstration was given to them. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal and Mr. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal of College were present at the Programme. Dr. K. Kamalakannan, the Convenor of YRC proposed the gratitude address.
