The Department of Commerce – General, ISM and Accounting & Finance jointly organized a Webinar on “An Overview on GST” on 19th February, 2021. The Webinar was aimed to address the participant on the awareness about Goods and Service Tax. Mrs. Divya Abishek, Chartered Accountant was the Resource Person of the Webinar. Her presentation focused on the awareness and terms of IGST, CGST and SGST. Dr. K. Vasudevaraj, Principal, SRM Arts and Science College gave the Welcome address for the Webinar. Dr. V. Navaneetha Kannan, Head of the Department (Accounting & Finance) gave the introduction about the Chief Guest. Dr. B. Donbosco, Head of the Department (ISM) anchored the webinar. 176 participants including the faculty, Scholars and Students from different parts of the State participated in the Webinar. The Webinar had a Question Session that helped many participants to clear their doubts. Dr. D. Shanthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce (General) proposed the Vote of Thanks. The Feedback received from the Participants was very positive about the Webinar. As part of the Webinar, E-Certificate was issued to all the participants for their active participation in it.
