In accordance to World Tourism day SRM-IHM arranged a training program for the women around Mahabalipuram regarding entrepreneurship for the house hold women in regards to low budget healthy cooking (e.g. millet based snacks, lentil based snacks) they were also provided knowledge by live demonstration of cooking, packing and selling keeping safety measures in mind. As a part live demonstration we displayed a food cart with all healthy treats which was the high light of the function. Lunch and gift hampers were provided at the end of the session.
A three in one program of World Tourism Day, International Chefs Day and World Food day in the month of September 2020 was carried out in a grand manner in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Maraimalai Nagar, Kanchipuram District Tamil Nadu keeping covid SOP as per the government rules and regulations and maintained proper social distance throughout the function.
