One day workshop on “Machine Learning” was jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science and Pan tech eLearning on 17 November 2021. The workshop was held on 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM. We received 325 registrations through the online mode and more than 100 participants attended the workshop. Two sessions were conducted, one in smart class room, introduction about Python using Machine Learning and the Afternoon session conducted in UG Lab-I for UG and PG final year with 80 Students. The Resource person was Ms.R.Nathiya, Project Engineer, Pan tech eLearning in Chennai who gave an innovative talk for the Students and she clarified the doubt during the interactive question and answer session. The workshop was really the need of the hour as it focused on Machine Learning which was really interesting, providing deep insights into the topic as well as presenting innovative information. The workshop was indeed useful while gave the participants with knowledge about current and rapid technological advancement. The Welcome address was given by II year M.Sc. CS Student Ms.R.Soundarya , Department of Computer Science and Chief guest address was given by Mr.R.Karthikeyan, Head, Department of Computer Science. The Vote of thanks was proposed by II year M.Sc. CS Student, Ms.S.Aiswarya, Computer Science department. We the department owe our sincere thanks to our Principal, Dr R. Vasudevaraj and Vice Principal Mr.K.Mathizalagan for their continuous encouragement and support to conduct such workshop more successfully. Various Heads of the Departments, Faculty members, and students actively participated in the Workshop.
