About Event
College celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2022 under the theme of ‘Integrated approach in Science and Technology for a sustainable future’. The day was celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman and to spread a message on the importance of science and technology. As part of the Science Day, the College conducted a series of events like Debate on Science today, Transformation of Science in Visuals and Science Exhibition. Around 300 students enthusiastically participated in the events. Dr. R. Pachaiappan, Associate Professor of Biotechnology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology inaugurated the Science Day and delivered his chief guest address highlighting the importance of the Raman Effect and its applications. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal and Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal of the College felicitated the Programme.
