The Department of Biochemistry organized a Webinar on dated 15.06.2020, at 5.00PM of Indian Standard Time, over Google meet on the topic “Food Nutrients: Boost the immune system to suppress the level of covid-19.” Presented by Dr. S. Jayakumar M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Webinar started with the permission from the Principal Dr. R. Vasudevaraj SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur. The Programme sharply begins at 5.00 PM, and Dr. S. Jayakumar delivered an brilliant speech for about for 45 minutes. The webinar also had a question session where many participants, questions and doubts were answered and cleared by the him. The speech gives an awareness of nutrient and health tips among the participant during this Covid – 19 Pandemic situations.

 Faculty, Research Scholars, Students from ours as well as from various colleges, were actively participated in this webinar. His speech gives awareness among the audience and received a great response. Nearly 200 participants were registered from all over Tamil Nadu and they are actively participated in this webinar.
